A high alkaline detergent for use in washer disinfectors for the removal of heavy surgical soils from medical devices. Suitable for use on alkali resistant surfaces such as stainless steel, ceramics, glass and resistant plastics.

INSTRUTIONS OF USE

  1. Allow the indicator to reach room temperature before use.
  2. Place the ampoule inside the liquid load or in the most difficult area for steam penetration.
  3. Run the sterilization cycle according to the autoclave program.
  4. After the cycle, allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before removing the ampoule.
  5. Incubate at 55–62 °C for up to 48 hours.
  6. Check the colour of the medium:
    • Purple (no change) → sterilization successful.
    • Yellow → sterilization failure.
  7. Record the results and include positive and negative controls.

PRECAUTIONS OF USE

  • Use only for steam sterilization (not for EO, plasma, or dry heat).
  • Store between 2–8 °C; protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Handle carefully to avoid glass breakage.
  • Always wear gloves and protective eyewear when handling after sterilization.
  • Dispose of used ampoules according to biohazard waste regulations.
