Usage

Axis AXCP124Cleaning Indicators are designed for validation and routine monitoring of cleaning processes effectiveness in automatic machines including ultrasonic washing machines with different washing configurations.
Axis AXCP124 Cleaning Indicators allow a quick visual evaluation of the process and can identify potential sources of error.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. Take a Axis AXCP124 Cleaning Indicator and placed it on the AXISAX-WIH01Holder.Holderhasbeendesignedtomimicsthereal challenges of thoroughly cleaning hard-to reach are as for the washing disinfection process.
2.Place the AXIS AX-WIH01 Holder along with Axis AXCP124 Cleaning Indicator inside and other material packages into the washer. Holder has hook story set placement on the tray.
3.Runthewasherasusual.
4.Once the cleaning cycle is over, remove the holder with an indicator. Washing efficacy is influenced by detergent, water temperature,time and washing penetration. A good cleaning result is achieved by an appropriate combinationofthesevariables.
5.Observeandrecordresultsaccordingtothegivencolorconversionchart.If unfavorable results do occur, users must check the quality/quantity of detergent, cleaning time, temperature as well as the general condition of the washer

Once the cycle is over, the user must Analyse the results

  • If the ink has changed into another color (as specified), the items have been processed correctly.
  • Alternatively, any different colors (as specified) indicate a failure in the sterilization cycle.

The contents of each pack must be exposed to several critical parameters of the sterilization process.

Storage conditions

  • Store it in a dark place between 15-30°C, 35-60% relative humidity.
  • Do not put direct sunlight.
  • Do not re-use.
  • Do not store close to sterilizing agents.
  • Indicators have an expiration date of 5 years from the date of manufacture when stored in recommended conditions.

Precautions

  • Hot surface. Please be careful to avoid skin burns before opening the pack
  • Do not store the product near sterilizing agents.
  • Do not expose this product to EO, Dry Heat or any sterilization process other than Steam.
  • Do not use a Bowe- Dick Test Pack n gravity displacement steam sterilization cycles (where there’s no pre-vacuum phase to check) or any kind of sterilization processes other than vacuum-assisted Steam.
  • Do not reuse the sterilizer until the chemical indicator has changed homogeneously into the color indicated in the product.
