Axis AXCP220 Container Seal with Chemical Indicators are designed to react to Steam sterilization processes. Pink indicator turns to reference color of Black when the load exposed to Steam sterilant.
Container Seal with Chemical Indicator
1. Place the Axis AXCP220 Container Seal on each container that will be sterilized by Steam.
2. Plastic safety lock is disposable, used by locking containers to secure the lid cover after sterilization until surgery, which can only be opened by breaking.
3. Run the sterilizer as usual with the container inside.
4. The container is locked before the sterilization process and acts as security to prevent unauthorized persons from opening it after the sterilization process.
5. For to check exposed and unexposed containers identification compare the results from the given reference color chart. If the color change to reference color of black means that the container has been exposed to Steam.
6. After use, the seal can only be opened by breaking.

Indicators have an expiration date of 5 years from the date of manufacture when stored in recommended conditions.
