Hydrogen Peroxide chemical indicator (Plasma Chemical Indicator)

For monitoring Hydrogen Peroxide sterilization processes.

Axis AX40 Hydrogen Peroxide Indicators are designed to react to Plasma sterilization processes within loads, ensuring adequate control of the effectiveness of sterilization processes. Red indicator turns to reference color of Yellow when the process reaches the selected variables.

1.Place the Axis AX40 HP Chemical Indicators within each package, bag or tray that will be sterilized by Hydrogen Peroxide.
2. Make sure you have used enough amount of chemical indicators according to your country/hospital regulations and the size of the load.
3. Run the sterilizer as usual.
     50 °C, 6 minutes, 2.3 mg/l H2O2.
4.After the sterilization completed. Wait for at least 10 minutes to load cool down.
5.Compare the results from the given reference color chart. If the color change to reference color of yellow means that the established sterilization conditions were met.
6.After use, for recording, the indicator will remain its final color for 6 months. It is non-toxic, does not contain lead and does not transfers to materials to be sterilized. Axis AX40 HP Chemical Indicators does not deteriorate or wrinkle during sterilization

Once the cycle is over, the user must Analyse the results

• If the ink has changed into another color (as specified), the items have been processed correctly.
• Alternatively, any different colors (as specified) indicate a failure in the sterilization cycle.
