INSTRUTIONS OF USE

Always add tablets to water, NOT water to tablets. Use cold water.

Application Required Chlorine Concentration Dilution (1g Tablets) Instructions
Blood/Bodily Fluid Spills 10,000 ppm 7 tablets in 1 Liter Pour solution over spill. Wear gloves, wipe up with disinfectant-saturated disposable cloth/towel.
Pipette Jars 5,000 ppm 7 tablets in 2 Liters Drop tablets into water-filled jar. Discard solution daily.
General Lab/Environmental 2,500 ppm 7 tablets in 4 Liters Wipe surfaces with disposable disinfectant-saturated cloth.
Baby Bottles/Teats, Utensils (Stainless, Porcelain, Glass), Tubing (Rubber/Plastic) 1,000 ppm 1 tablet in 1 Liter Immerse items for 1 hour. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterwards.
Eating Utensils & Crockery 1,000 ppm 1 tablet in 1 Liter Immerse for 1 hour. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterwards.
Soiled & Infected Linen 140 ppm 1 tablet in 10 Liters Rinse for 1-2 minutes. Then immerse for 1 hour prior to normal washing.
Work Surfaces, Cupboards, Floors 140 ppm 1 tablet in 10 Liters Wipe or wash down surfaces.
Dishcloths, Mops, etc. 60 ppm 1 tablet in 23 Liters Soak to bleach, clean, and deodorize.

PRECAUTIONS OF USE

  • Bio Chlorine is a DANGEROUS substance (GHS Classification: Oxidizing Solid 2, Acute Toxicity 4, Skin Irrit. 3, Eye Dam. 1, STOT SE 3, Aquatic Acute/Chronic 1).
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is MANDATORY:
  • Eye Protection: Tight-fitting chemical splash goggles AND a face shield (Eye Dam. Cat 1 – causes serious eye damage).
  • Skin Protection: Impervious gloves (e.g., Nitrile), protective clothing/apron, closed-toe shoes. Avoid skin contact.
  • Respiratory Protection: Use in well-ventilated areas. If handling powder or dust, or in poorly ventilated areas, wear a NIOSH-approved respirator for dust/chlorine gas (e.g., N95/P2 + organic vapor/acid gas cartridge, or supplied air). SCBA for large spills or firefighting.
  • Hygiene: Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using. Shower and change clothes after work if significant exposure possible.
  • Handling:
  • NEVER add water to tablets. ALWAYS add tablets to water to avoid violent reaction/splashing.
  • Handle in well-ventilated areas. Avoid creating dust.
  • Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
  • NO SMOKING in handling/storage areas.
  • Use non-sparking tools.
