INSTRUTIONS OF USE

is a safe, efficient and quick revitalizing solution for stainless steel
surgical instruments, trays, basins and case carts.
The product removes rust, stains, spotting, hard water scale and mineral
deposits frequently encountered from sterilization.
It also helps to loosen stiff joints and locks.
It is recommended that a routine preventative program be initiated using
Bio-Rust weekly or bimonthly as needed. Regular use will enhance the life
and efficiency of stainless steel instruments, trays, basins and case carts while
lowering replacement costs.
Bio-Rust is not recommended for use on chrome or silver plated instruments.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

For Surgical Instruments:
1. Add 20 – 30 ml of Bio-Rust to 1 Liter water .
2. Place solution in a non-porous container (preferably stainless steel or Pyrex glass).
3. Place thoroughly cleaned and opened instruments in a stainless steel wire bottom instrument tray.
4. Place in Bio-Rust solution for 15 minutes (gross or heavily stained instruments-soak for 30 minutes).
5. Remove instruments from Bio-Rust solution and rinse thoroughly under running water.

PRECAUTIONS OF USE

  • Always wear chemical-resistant gloves (butyl or nitrile rubber).
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use safety glasses if there’s a risk of splashing.
  • Do not inhale vapors; work in a well-ventilated area.
  • Wash hands after handling and before eating, drinking, or smoking.
  • Avoid splashing or spraying.Do not mix with alkaline substances – may cause a chemical reaction.Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash before reuse.
