INSTRUTIONS OF USE
- Place one BT40/6 strip inside a representative test pack or in the most challenging location of the autoclave load (hardest area for steam penetration).
- Run the sterilization cycle following your validated parameters.
- After the cycle, under aseptic conditions, transfer the strip into a sterile tube containing a suitable culture medium (e.g. Terragene’s Tryptic Soy Broth or Bionova medium).
- Incubate at 56–60 °C for up to 7 days, or as per your protocol.
- Observe for color change or turbidity indicating microbial growth:
- No growth (no color/turbidity) → Sterilization successful.
Growth (turbidity or color change) → Sterilization failed.
