IT26-C is a chemical indicator integrator designed to monitor steam sterilization processes.
It is a Class 5 integrating indicator according to ISO 11140-1, meaning it reacts to all critical parameters of steam sterilization — time, temperature, and saturated steam — in a manner that correlates closely with the biological indicator performance.
It provides a precise visual confirmation that sterilization conditions were met inside the pack or load.

INSTRUTIONS OF USE

  1. Place one IT26-C indicator inside each pack, tray, or load before running the sterilization cycle.
  2. Process the load in the autoclave under your validated parameters (e.g., 121°C for 15 min or 134°C for 3.5 min).
  3. After the cycle, inspect the indicator window:
    • The blue bar must completely move into the “ACCEPT” area to confirm that sterilization conditions were achieved.
    • If the bar remains in the “REJECT” area, or incomplete → sterilization parameters not reached.

Keep the used indicator as documentation for sterilization records.

PRECAUTIONS OF USE

  • Store in a cool, dry environment (15–30 °C) away from sterilants, heat, and humidity.

  • For single use only — do not reuse.

Keep away from chemical vapors or sterilant gases before use.
