TYPE 5 INTEGERATOR

• Axis Steam Chemical Integrators can be used inside each load to monitor time, temperature, and steam exposure conditions and can provide the necessary sterilization assurance.
• Axis Steam Chemical Integrators are chemical indicators consisting of a paper and a steam temperature sensitive chemical pellet contained in a paper/film/foil laminate.
• The chemical pellet melts and moves as a dark color along the paper.
• Moving front ink technology provides easy to read ‘Accept or Reject’ result.
• Steam Chemical Integrators can be used for load control monitoring of all 121°C-134°C steam sterilization cycles.

Once the cycle is over, the user must Analyse the results

The contents of each pack must be exposed to several critical parameters of the sterilization process.
These critical parameters for Steam are:

• • Saturated Steam
  • Time
  • Temperature

• If the ink has changed into another color (as specified), the items have been processed correctly.
• Alternatively, any different colors (as specified) indicate a failure in the sterilization cycle.
